Nightly lights event returns to Surprise Community Park

Posted

The Sparkling Surprise light display is back for another holiday season.

From Dec. 6 to 31, the Surprise Recreation Campus will come alive with dazzling holiday lights and festive displays, spanning Surprise Community Park and the area outside Surprise Stadium.

The event runs nightly from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Surprise Recreation Campus, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.

Sparkling Surprise features an array of themed light displays throughout the park, including magical floating trees on the lake. Take a journey with Sparkle the Surprise Dog as she explores festive lands like Polar Land, Under the Sea, Magical Forest and Toyland, each one filled with holiday wonder.

This free event offers countless opportunities for picture-perfect spots to capture family photos or selfies against the backdrop of the twinkling lights and beautiful displays. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season and make lasting memories with family and friends.

For the safety of pedestrians, Bullard Avenue will be closed between Paradise and Tierra Buena lanes 24 hours a day until New Year’s Day. The south Surprise Regional Library parking lot will also be closed during this time.
