The Sounds of the Southwest Singers and Chorale are making a stop at Spirit of Grace Lutheran Church, 15820 W. Clearview Boulevard, in The Grand.
The Surprise church will host the multi-generational community choirs at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The nonprofit group performs secular, sacred, classical, patriotic, Broadway, pop, ‘60s- and ‘70s-themed musical genres, as well as Christmas-themed music.
Director Matt Deller founded the group, which has entertained audiences across the Valley for several years.
It has performed in England, Germany, Italy and Austria. It has also taken the show to the American Cemetery in Normandy, France, Disneyland/California Adventure, the Lincoln Center, Hawaii and Carnegie Hall.
The singers have already scheduled a show for May in Washington, D.C. to help celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday.
“The goal of these singers is to continue to make a difference musically in the communities where they perform and wherever their talents take them,” the group wrote in a news release. “They also find ways to give back beyond music in the communities they serve.”
Tickets for the show are required, but they are free.
They can be obtained by calling the Fellowship Phone at 480-438-1115, beginning Saturday, Nov. 29.
