Sneakybird, a locally owned restaurant in the Village at Prasada, recently launched Camp Sneaky, which is focused on supporting education at all levels.
Dan Chaon, founder and CEO of Sneakybird, said Camp Sneaky is the restaurant's philanthropic platform to give back to local neighborhoods.
“Through Camp Sneaky, we work with schools, teachers, students and parents on fundraising programs to create meaningful change, ensuring our brand stands for more than just the world’s best chicken," Chaon said.
For groups seeking a fundraising partner, Camp Sneaky is formally open putting together fundraising nights across Surprise with a portion of proceeds being donated directly back to the organization.
In addition to the event itself, the Sneakybird marketing team will also work with all partners on collateral and social media support to help make an even bigger impact.
“We’ve been testing Camp Sneaky for the past several months, partnering on fundraising programs with local schools, and we are seeing the communities come out in a big way,” said Chaon, noting that programs need not have a formal 501c3 designation nor be a formal school to qualify for funding.

Sneakybird is also sliding into summer by adding a new slider menu item to its lineup. It utilizing its oven-grilled tenders as the base for the new menu offering, pairing them with a smaller version of their soft, lightly sweet, rich brioche bread and the guests’ choice of several spectacular dry rubs and sauces, resulting in several dozen flavor combinations.
“The dry rubs run the gamut from garlic butter parmesan and smokey honey and peach to jalapeño garlic ranch and lemon pepper,” Chaon said. “Of course, for those who prefer something that feels more like grilled chicken, the sliders may also be ordered ‘naked,’ which means they are oven-grilled breadless with their signature seasoning blend of salt, pepper, and garlic dry rub.”
There are also several crave-worthy sauces to accompany the sliders, which can be enjoyed on their own or with a side of sneaky coleslaw (house slaw with a hint of the brand’s signature sneaky sauce) and/or crispy tater tots.
“Through cutting-edge technology, we’ve mastered a cooking process that locks in all the mouth-watering flavor and juiciness without using any added ingredients. Enjoy the crunch and savor the taste, all while keeping it guilt-free,” Chaon said.
