A sensory-friendly Christmas experience is coming back to Surprise during the holiday season.

The city of Surprise is presenting the fourth annual Sensitive Santa Experience with help from the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix and T.E.A.M. 4 Kids.

It is happening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at Surprise Stadium, 15850 N. Bullard Ave.

The celebration is designed for individuals with special needs, offering a calm environment free of long lines, bright lights and loud noises.

While waiting for their private visit with Santa, families can enjoy games, crafts, snacks and vendor booths. An ASL interpreter will be available from 10 a.m. to noon.

Admission is $5 per family. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
