Palm tree workshop set for Surprise water center

Surprise is hosting a landscaping workshop called “Palm Trees: Selection and Care” on Saturday, March 28.

Certified master gardener Michael Eichstadt will teach techniques and even give some history about the introduction of palms to the Valley.

It’s scheduled for 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Surprise Water Education Center, 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza.
