On Oct. 12, the Maricopa County Department of Transportation will begin construction of improvements on Olive Avenue, from just west of State Route (Loop) 303 to just east of Reems Road in Glendale.
This project will increase capacity on Olive Avenue to support regional traffic flow by adding lanes, widening the roadway, installing two new traffic signals and constructing drainage improvements within the project limits.
The intersections of Sarival Avenue and Reems Road will be signalized and widened with turn lanes to improve operations, increase capacity and accommodate future traffic needs.
