Heat causes Surprise to open some splash pads early

Due to unseasonably high temperatures, the Surprise Parks and Recreation Department has decided to open select splash pads early.

The splash pads at Marley Park’s Heritage Park, 15073 W. Sweetwater Ave, and Dick McComb Park, 17894 W. Westpark Blvd., are open and available for public use.

Splash pad hours are daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
