Hazardous waste pickups at Surprise homes continue in October

Surprise’s monthly household hazardous waste collection program continues with pickups this month from Oct. 13 to 16.

Residents can request an appointment from February through November for hazardous waste collection pickup right from their driveway during one week most months.

The collection of these materials is split into two types and scheduled separately. One pickup is for electronic hazardous waste, including flat-screen TVs, computers and cell phones.

Hazardous waste pickups at Surprise homes continue in October

Surprise’s monthly household hazardous waste collection program continues with pickups this month from Oct. 13 to 16.

Residents can request an appointment from February through November for hazardous waste collection pickup right from their driveway during one week most months.

The collection of these materials is split into two types and scheduled separately. One pickup is for electronic hazardous waste, including flat-screen TVs, computers and cell phones.

Another is for all other hazardous waste.

To schedule a collection, residents can use the My Surprise app or call customer service at 623-222-1920.

All scheduling is based on availability and is first-come, first-served.
