Aubrey Hilgers loves to play golf and travel. One day, the Surprise teenager is hoping to have a career doing both.
The fact that the 16-year-old champion junior golfer comes from Arizona is not too big of a shock, considering the state’s weather has helped produce several top golfers over the years.
But because she has become one of the top junior players in the nation from her exploits outside the state, she was named a captain’s pick for the U.S. PING Junior Solheim Cup team, which will battle Europe next week in The Netherlands.
