First Friday Surprise, the monthly pop-up creative district returns for a second season from 6–9 p.m., on the first Friday every month, beginning Oct. 2.
With double the capacity and a new home in the outdoor space surrounding Arts HQ Gallery, 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza, the monthly pop-up creative district launched in Surprise last fall.
Season One ran in front of local coffee shop Spencer’s Place with room for 30 vendors. Season Two Season--Oct 2, Nov. 6, Dec. 4, Jan. 1, Feb. 5, March 5, April 2 and May 7--will move in to the city’s civic core with space for more than 60 makers, more food vendors, a live performance area, a monthly culinary competition, and room for workshops and featured artist showcases, according to a press release.
