Dysart Schools’ board meetings switch to Wednesdays in 2025

Starting in January, the Dysart Unified School District will hold its governing board meetings on Wednesdays instead of Thursdays to lessen scheduling conflicts.

Board members voted unanimously Nov. 14 to approve revisions for the 2024-2025 governing board meeting schedule and the 2024-25 policy monitoring cycle as presented.

After DUSD Superintendent Dr. John Croteau gave reasons to switch the day, the motion by board member Chrystal Chaffin was seconded by board President Dawn Densmore, with Christine Pritchard, Chrystal Chaffin, Jennifer Drake, and Jo Grant agreeing to the schedule change.
