Comments wanted on possible rezone for Surprise subdivision

Natalie Maikoski of infrastructure developers EPS Group has scheduled a neighborhood meeting in Surprise to discuss a rezone request that would allow construction of a new 14.88-acre residential community.
Witrock Land I is asking the city to rezone land at the southeast corner of 147th Avenue and Beardsley Canalto allow for a detached single-family home subdivision.
Residents can ask questions and learn more about the project and potential zoning change at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Asante Preparatory Academy, 23251 N. 166th Drive.
