Benevilla, a nonprofit organization serving older adults and caregivers, announced its upcoming free education workshop “Smart Year-End Tax and Gifting Strategies” with a bonus topic: “Does Your Portfolio Really Care Who Got Elected?”

This informative session will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 at the Benevilla Main Campus, 16752 N. Greasewood St.

The workshop will feature guest speaker Stephen Harnden, a CPA and private wealth advisor at Affirm Wealth Advisors, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services.

Harnden will provide insights on how to save on taxes and make strategic financial decisions as the year comes to a close. He will also review the potential impact of election year results on investment portfolios, helping attendees navigate financial uncertainties.

This workshop is designed to equip attendees with practical knowledge and tools to optimize their tax planning and gifting strategies while gaining a better understanding of how political shifts may (or may not) influence their investments.

To reserve a spot, call 623-584-4999, or visit benevilla.org/freeworkshops.
