ADOT schedules pair of road closures overnight Friday in Surprise

The Loop 303 interchange with Grand Avenue is in need of multi-million dollars' worth of work.

The eastbound U.S. 60 left turn lane to northbound 163rd Avenue and the southbound Loop 303 off-ramp at U.S. 60 will be closed overnight.

The two areas will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday as crews from the Arizona Department of Transportation continue work on the Phase 2 interchange improvements.

Instead of the turn onto 163rd, drivers may consider using Deer Valley Road to access the Santa Fe frontage road to connect to 163rd.
