Surprise baseball fans now know when they’ll be able to see the Major League Baseball stars of tomorrow with the release of the Arizona Fall League schedule.

The Surprise Saguaros, which this year will be comprised of the best prospects from the Kansas City Royals, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Guardians, Baltimore Orioles and Houston Astros organizations, will host a dozen games this year, with each of the other five AFL teams making at least one stop in Surprise.

The 12-game home schedule begins at Surprise Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 9 when the Peoria Javelinas visit for a 1:30 p.m. game.

Other teams in the league are the Glendale Desert Dogs, Mesa Solar Sox, Salt River Rafters and Scottsdale Scorpions. Each of the six AFL teams rotate the Major League teams that feed it players each year.

The season runs through Wednesday, Nov. 13 when the Salt River Rafters come to Surprise Stadium for a 1:30 p.m. game.

The schedule also features three night games among the 12.

Single-game tickets will cost $13 this year, but $11 for seniors 55 and over and ages 11 to 17. Kids 10 and under are still free with an adult.

The Arizona Fall League is also selling season passes online at the AFL website.
