The Salty Dawgs will perform 1 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive.
The group began performing for residents of the Grand in 2017 and when all indoor activities were prohibited during Covid, they performed street concerts; donations from the concerts were given to several local charities.
This program will include songs from the folk era of the 1960s, some western songs, ballads and a few original compositions. This will be the group’s fifth appearance at Advent Church and it is a free community event; a goodwill donation can be made.
Call 623-584-0350 or visit adventaz.org for more information. The Desert Winds Steel Orchestra will perform Sunday, April 7.
