Senior center releases food menu for the Sun Cities

The Banner Olive Branch Senior Center, 13049 N. 103rd Ave., offers dine‑in meals, to‑go meals and food pantry services.
The food pantry is available at no cost 7:00–11:00 a.m. Tuesday–Thursday. Lunch is served 11 a.m.–noon Monday–Friday at no cost for those age 60 and older, with a suggested $5 donation. A $5 fee is required for those under 60. Breakfast is served 6:30–8:30 a.m. Monday–Friday for $5 and is open to all ages. To‑go meals are available 11 a.m.–noon Monday–Friday for $5 per meal and are open to everyone.
Guests are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early.
Menu:
Wednesday, Sept. 2 – Pork stuffed peppers, Scandinavian mix vegetables, broccoli, roll and peaches.
Thursday, Sept.3 – Pot roast, carrots, collard greens, brown rice and pear.
Tuesday, Sept.8 – Pork meatballs in tomato sauce, roasted vegetable couscous (eggplant, zuchinni and peppers), carrots and pineapple chunks.
