Oregon club sets farewell picnic

The State Club of Oregon’s annual farewell picnic is 2:30-6 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Beardsley center’s Ramada 7.
The State Club of Oregon is open to those from or somehow connected to Oregon, and those who can properly pronounce “Oregon.” The group is for Oregonians, and others with a connection to Oregon, to get together monthly for fun and enjoyment. The club's social events include the Welcome Back party, Christmas Dinner, Crab Feed, Breakfast Social and more during the "snowbird season" from November through April.
There will be a business meeting and election of officers to serve next year, followed by games and socializing, then a BBQ. This is a BYOB event and all club members are encouraged to attend and contribute. A $5 RSVP charge is requested.
Those who attend will have their 2024-25 membership fee credited with the RSVP fee. Mail checks for $5 per person payable to State Club of Oregon, P.O. Box 5162, Sun City West, AZ 85376-5162. Reservations must be received by April 13.
