Denver Bierman
Posted
Denver Bierman, trumpet player, vocalist and band leader, will perform 5 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at First Baptist Church, 17419 N. Conquistador Drive.
The “Night of Worship and Praise” will consist of Bierman playing and singing a mix of congregational worship songs, hymns and new selections from his upcoming worship album, “Glory Forever.”
Having played the trumpet since he was a sixth-grader in Indiana, Bierman admits to growing up as a classic “band geek.” He played in school jazz bands and eventually formed his own group.
Bierman has traveled the world as leader of Denver & the Mile High Orchestra, a group of “big band” and congregational worship instrumentalists. While the orchestra will not perform at the April 21st concert, Bierman will provide an evening of reflection and worship with his own aptitude for music.
Visit fbcscw.org or call 623-584-5738 for more information. A free-will offering will be taken at the concert.
