Legion Post 94 remembers events of 25 years ago

Honor Guard Commander Jack Coyle, right, and Rifle Squad Leader Ron Ripley, left, salute, as Bugler Paul Van Rooy sounds taps following the rifle volley provided by the Sun City West American Legion Post 94 Honor Guard, as the Corte Bella Veterans Patriot Day ceremony closes. The Corte Bella Veterans Association held its annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony, honoring those who lost their lives on that day 25 years ago. Arizona Fire and Medical Authority presented the Colors, plus a commemorative wreath was placed at the flagpole by a resident, as members of the Corte Bella Veterans and Corte Bella Homeowners Associations spoke about the lasting impacts of that day.  In tribute, many remember and honor family members and friends who lost their lives, as we will “Never Forget.”
