A fundraising effort started in 2016 in Sun City West and has raised more than $52,000.
The Sun City West Witches Ride for Charity has grown since Pam Chumbly took the first ride with eight residents dressed as witches. Now, there are more than 200 golf carts and bicycles joining in on the parade route, as well as spectators and many others who join the party at Beardsley Park.
All money raised from this event supports the Sun City West Foundation and Helping Hands, plus Benevilla, which serves many seniors in the Sun Cities.
