A Sun City West resident and his family were seeking the public’s help in finding his missing daughter, but she was found safe.
Tanya Havlick had been visiting her father, David Havlick at his home near 151st Avenue and Deer Valley Drive. While he and her sister, Christy White, were out of the house, Tanya left a note Sept. 2 that she was going to go to Albertsons and expected to be back by 10 a.m. However, she never returned.
She was on foot and wearing navy blue leggings, a short sleeve hot pink shirt and new white tennis shoes, according to her sister. Tanya is 40 with brown eyes, black hair, is 4-feet-8 and 95 pounds. She has fetal alcohol syndrome and a seizure disorder.
“She is 40 years old but she has the mind of a 12-year-old,” White said.
She takes medications for her ailments, but did not have her medications with her when she left her father’s home.
