Club helps Sun City West residents get plants ready for winter

The Desert Garden Club hosted a workshop for residents in Sun City West to teach them how to prepare plants for the winter months.

Club member Liann Hathaway said residents struggle with how to use water and with every season, the water demand changes on plants, she said.

A year ago a survey went out to club members who said they wanted to learn more about caring for plants during various seasons and also cactus care, which Hathaway said the club will present next March.
