Isn’t Sun City supposed to be affordable for seniors?

OPINION — After attending the Sept. 14 Recreation Centers of Sun City board meeting, I believe there is no way to reason with the board. One of the ladies from the dance club researched statistics of past recreation fees and posed to the board that these fees should not be raised $90 due to the board not doing what it should have done in the past.

All the current board had to say is that they’re not accountable for what the board did in the past as condoning that this is why they need to raise RCSC annual fees.

I have a friend who worked selling satellite service to Sun City residents, and the results of those visits were astonishing. Residents turned away my friend, saying that they could not afford television or had no television because they could barely afford living in Sun City.
