The city of Surprise is seeking vendors and classic car show entries for its annual Surprise Fiesta Grande, an evening of live music, entertainment, food, dancing and more.

The event is happening from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at a new location in Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.

While the location has changed, the spirit of the festival remains the same — to celebrate the unique and vibrant culture and traditions that have shaped the city.

Attendees with experience authentic Mexican food, mariachi music, folklórico dancing, a classic car show, piñata plaza and, new this year, lucha libre wrestling and pony rides.

The event offers promotional opportunities for interested businesses, organizations, and nonprofits. The booth fee is $150 for nonprofit organizations and $500 for all others. Each booth includes a 10-by-10 vendor tent, one table and two chairs. Note that space is limited.

The city is also accepting Classic Car Show entries. These can be submitted in person at the Parks and Recreation Office, located at 15960 N. Bullard Ave. or at surpriseaz.gov/FiestaGrande.

There is a $20 pre-event registration fee, which includes a T-shirt and dash plaque. Plus, the first 100 registrants will receive a special goody bag.
