Excessive force debate goes on

The Mesa Police Department on Tuesday voluntarily released surveillance video footage showing a group of Mesa police officers beating an unarmed man while responding to a call at an apartment complex in May. Friday, the Mesa police chief announced two separate outside investigations into the incident.

NOT ENOUGH

This is not even close to being enough. Those animals need to be punished with a huge reduction in pay and possible firings if this is not their first offense. This is not how you support your community. — @al3xtec

BLURRY VISION?

Amazing how these departments suddenly want to have a renewed vision after they destroy public trust in law enforcement. — @WTF_Murica

MESA PD TO BLAME

I hope we as a society give you a wake up call and teach you a lesson. This is beyond words can express. These officers need to lose everything and the Mesa Police Dept. is totally responsible. You are to blame. — @maymaychris

D-backs let series win slip away

On the verge of winning 2 of 3 in San Francisco, Arizona closer Brad Boxberger allowed a two-out, two-run tying homer and the Diamondbacks fell in 10 innings to the Giants on Wednesday.

FANS WANTED

Dreadful performance by the bullpen, yes. But Diamondbacks fans do not travel well. I am convinced I was the only one in AT&T Park. Where are the fans? — @1800Callabro
