Town set for Fourth of July event at Gilbert Regional Park

Gilbert is hosting its annual July 4 celebration at Gilbert Regional Park, 3005 E. Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, at the amphitheater and event lawn. 

The event from 4-9:30 p.m. July 4 is free for general admission, but a VIP Experience is available for $25 plus tax. Tickets are nonrefundable. Children under 2 are free. 

Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. weather permitting. 

The VIP Experience offers guests premier seating to live performances, fireworks, exclusive food and drink vendors, luxury restrooms, Gilbert swag and one free bottled water per person. 

The entertainment acts are Buddy Martell from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and Voyager from 7-9 p.m. 

A variety of food, drink and snack trucks will be on-site for the event. Alcohol and glass containers are strictly prohibited. Vendors will be accepting card and cash payments. No ATMs are available on site. 

Parking passes will be available for purchase on-site only. Parking passes are good upon entry one time. In and out privileges are not permitted. Parking is $15 per vehicle by credit card only and is nonrefundable. 

Parking is not permitted in the surrounding neighborhoods. 

Early arrival is highly encouraged as the town expects heavy traffic all evening. 

Street closures around the park are planned for 7:45 p.m. Access into the park will be limited or restricted. 

The parking lot and event are fully accessible by strollers, wheelchairs and walkers.  

Pets are not allowed at this event.  

Stage lighting, lasers and strobe lights may be used during performances. ADA parking is first come first serve and a parking placard will be required. 

Please be courteous of the site and do not leave trash or block customer parking.  

The town encourages guests to bring blankets or chairs for seating, water or sports drinks, bug spray and sunscreen. Outside food, drinks and coolers are allowed. 

In addition to pets, prohibited items are glass containers, alcohol, canopies (including metal-framed canopies), camp tents and consumer fireworks. Personal chair umbrellas are permitted. 

The park will be closed starting at 10 p.m. July 3 through 4 p.m. July 4 when gates open. Attendees will not be permitted by car, bike or foot until 4 p.m. Tuesday.
