Celebrate the Fourth at Queen Creek's Schnepf Farms

Posted

Queen Creek residents are invited to celebrate the Fourth of July at Schnepf Farms.

The annual Hometown July 4th celebration will have food trucks, craft vendors, live music, fireworks and water inflatables.

The celebration runs from 4-9 p.m., Tuesday, July 4 at 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road.

Schnepf Farms will be holding the event on the south end of the farm adjacent to Riggs Road.

Guests are being asked to enter the property via the three entrances. Visitors must purchase a car pass beforehand. With the parking pass, guests first check in with the parking attendants, and from there they can park their vehicles and walk to the gate.

Tickets are $40 per carload and the car pass includes admission for everyone in a car. Tickets will not be sold onsite.

With the car pass, guests get:

• Admission to the Hometown 4th for all guests in vehicle
• Access to food trucks, and spectating fields
• Water inflatables
• Foam water pit
• Fireworks display
Music
• A patriotic program
• Vendor row

When purchasing a car pass, Schnepf Farms asks visitors to pay attention to the “arrival time” shown with the pass.

“This means you must arrive sometime between the timeframe listed on your ticket. This is to help us mitigate road traffic and smooth out the parking process. The arrival time does not mean you have to leave by the end of that hour timeframe. We encourage you to stay until the end of the event,” according to Schnepf Farms.

Schnepf Farms also is offering VIP passes. The passes cost $120 per person for anyone 3 years and older. Those who buy VIP passes do not have to buy a car pass.

The VIP passes provide:

• Admission to the event
• Private parking lot
• Catered barbecue dinner
• Unlimited complimentary soda and water
• Private bar
• Indoor air conditioning in the Big Red Barn
• Front row spectator area for the fireworks show
• Lawn games
• Live music

Schnepf Farms warns that space is limited and encourages visitors to buy their VIP passes early.

As with any event, there are prohibited items. They include:

• Backpacks
• Grills
• Fireworks/sparklers
• Alcohol/beverages/food
• Laser pointers
• Large coolers
• Permitted items include:
• 10-foot-by10-foot tents
• Umbrellas
