INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
The city has three dates open for community groups and organizations to apply to have a Tempe Candidate Forum prior to next year’s election.
The forums will be at the Tempe History Museum, 809 E. Southern Ave., and available dates include Dec. 20, Jan. 16 and Feb. 7, according to a release.
Each forum will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.
To apply to host one of the three available forums, email Interim Communication and Marketing Director Kris Baxter-Ging with the organization's name, forum representative's name and phone number.
Requests to host one of the three available opportunities will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, the release stated.
Applications will be accepted beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Earlier requests will not be accepted, city officials said.
