Tax credits available for donations to Surprise schools

The Dysart Unified School District is reminding Arizona residents they can donate up to $400 to support extracurricular activities at the district while receiving 100% back as a tax credit.

Arizona Law allows married couples filing jointly the full tax credit and individual taxpayers a credit of up to $200 when they contribute to extra-curricular activities in public schools.

This tax credit is available to all who reside in Arizona and have a tax liability at least equal to that of their donation.
