Surprise wants input on city's housing needs

2 meetings scheduled to give feedback

Posted

The city of Surprise is in the process of conducting a housing needs analysis and market demand study.

It is asking residents to share their experiences regarding the housing situation, voice concerns about existing conditions and express their opinions about potential affordable housing initiatives at a pair of upcoming community meetings.

Residents can choose to attend a 2 p.m. or 6 p.m. session on Monday, April 10, inside the Community Room in Surprise City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.

The meetings will include a presentation on the findings of the city’s recent housing survey and give time for resident questions and answers.

The Surprise Human Service and Community Vitality Department is conducting the Surprise housing needs analysis and market demand study in partnership with Matrix Design Group, Inc.
