Surprise resident, entrepreneur writes first children’s book

Posted

Surprise resident and business owner Tim Crum, who has written four business books in the Animal Shelter’s Guide To series, and whose company (Animal Shelter Fundraising & Services) is a three-time winner of the AI Global Excellence Awards, announced the publication of his first children’s book.

“Repeat After Me, One Green Gecko” is published by Shark Press Publishing and retails for $9.99.

The book is geared toward first-time readers (ages 4 through 7, grades K through 3) and is available at timcrum.com, by clicking on the “Tim’s books” tab.

It will be available on Amazon beginning Dec. 1.

Crum was inspired to develop a colorful and playful book for children based on his world travels. As a globe trekker, he has traveled to a myriad of countries and has marveled at seeing many different animals in the wild.

His favorite animal experiences have been swimming with sharks, watching baby coatimunidi scavenge for food in the jungle, spotting poisonous dart frogs in the rain forest and feeding spider monkeys.

These experiences, combined with his memories of reading books to his own children every night at bedtime, led him to write this book.

Crum has two children, three dogs and one rabbit.
