Superstition Freeway lane closures planned beginning Aug. 15

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for weeknight travel delays on U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway in Tempe/Mesa while alternating lane closures are in place for pavement maintenance.
They are:
Eastbound US60 between Hardy and Country Club drives will be narrowed to one or two lanes nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Sunday, Aug. 15, through the morning of Thursday, Aug. 19.
Westbound US60 between Country Club and Hardy drives will be narrowed to one or two lanes nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Sunday, Aug. 22, through the morning of Thursday, Aug. 26.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway, according to a release.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
