With cooler fall temperatures the Sun City Hikers have again started hiking. The club held a welcome back hike and picnic Oct. 25 in the White Tanks Regional Park. Hike leaders started with some shorter hikes followed by a short business meeting and visiting and eating.
Over the summer, hike coordinators worked out a hiking schedule for their respective hike levels; hikes are planned for the White Tanks, Estrellas, the McDowell Sonoran Preserves, Cave Creek and Spur Cross areas, as well as the Superstitions, Black Canyon and a few of the Prescott area hikes.
