Arizona State Treasurer Kimberly Yee and the University of Arizona's Center for the Philosophy of Freedom are recognizing outstanding teachers who teach financial literacy to statewide K-12 students.
Nominate a teacher and they could win a full scholarship for the U-of-A's Master of Legal Studies online program. Nominations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1.
Three scholarships will be awarded to cover the full cost of the online Master of Legal Studies in Law and Economics degree, a joint program between the University of Arizona Center for Philosophy of Freedom and the James E. Rogers College of Law.
The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony in Phoenix later this fall.
All nominated teachers must currently be teaching Arizona K-12th grade students in district, charter, private, homeschool or tribal schools as of Sept. 1.
