Students from 2 Mesa schools to attend NFL Play 60 Kids Day

Fourth- through sixth-grade students from Adams and Jefferson elementary schools in Mesa are joining children from three other schools at NFL Play 60 Kids Day Feb. 8 at the Super Bowl Experience in downtown Phoenix.
A total of 1,000 students will have the opportunity to spend time with NFL players, legends, mascots and cheerleaders as they interact with different football-themed activity stations and learn about the importance of staying active and living a healthy lifestyle, according to a release.
Other participating schools are Joseph Zito Elementary School in the Isaac School District, Salt River Elementary School from the Salt River Pima Indian Reservation and Justine Spitalny STEAM School in the Cartwright Elementary School District).
The event is 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Super Bowl Experience presented by Lowe’s at the Phoenix Convention Center, 100 N. Third St.
