School labels came out Nov. 1, and the Dysart Unified School District is celebrating its improvement.
Back in 2016-17, school labels from the Arizona Department of Education switched to letter grades A-F.
“During the initial measurements, there were two measures and in 2021-22 calculations there was only one measure used. Growth over three consecutive year’s data measures how a student does compared to their peers who scores the exact same on the scale the year before,” Amy Hartjen, DUSD director of research and achievement said.
