Southwest Behavioral receives risk culture inversion award
Posted
Southwest Behavioral & Health Services, an organization for behavioral health, has announced that the organization received a Lovitt & Touché Risk Culture Inversion Award.
Honored once again for embracing the principles of inversion as delivered by the Lovitt & Touché risk control team, this is the third year in a row that SB&H has received the recognition, according to a press release.
The Inversion Awards follow L&T’s safety model and philosophy, which, taking the form of an inverted triangle, emphasizes the proactive steps organizations can take to lead toward zero safety incidents.
Award recipients, chosen by a panel of L&T officers, were selected based on the following criteria:
Utilized the L&T risk management resources
Embraced the principles of inversion as delivered by the L&T risk control team
Sustained an internal culture shift within the organization based on their interactions with L&T
Had a remarkable and favorable turnaround and are now operating as a healthier business
“Our internal safety practices are a top priority here,” said Saran Hansen, director of risk management of Southwest Behavioral & Health Services. “I’m proud of our team for winning the award three years in a row and will continue our efforts to create a safe workplace for all.”
