Scottsdale-based Echo Coffee partners with Arizona Humane Society

Echo Coffee, 2902 N. 68th St., suite 135, has forged a corporate partnership with the Arizona Humane Society, establishing a donor model that exemplifies their commitment to supporting animal welfare.

The partnership positions Echo Coffee as a long-term philanthropic supporter of AHS. Under the leadership of 30-year-old owner Rob Rigolfi, Jr., Echo Coffee has been contributing one percent of all revenues to AHS since June 2021.

This winter, Echo Coffee opens its second location inside AHS’ new state-of-the-art Rob & Melani Walton Papago Park Campus. Echo Coffee will continue growing their program of donating one percent of all revenues to AHS. This includes both retail and wholesale sides of the business.

"For me, it's about more than just running a coffee business; it's about making a lasting difference in the lives of animals and people," said Rigolfi, Jr., an animal lover and budding philanthropist. "After my own experience running a nonprofit and operating the coffee shop simultaneously, I realized that supporting an established organization like Arizona Humane Society was the most effective way to combine my love for animals, people and the business."

Beyond being a shop for coffee aficionados, Echo Coffee has become a destination for dog lovers, welcoming patrons to bring their canine companions and socialize over a cup of coffee out on the patio. Echo Coffee even features baked dog treats for their four-legged friends.

Also for sale in store and online are 12 oz. freshly roasted, organic whole bean coffee “doggie bags” featuring original renderings stamped on the front depicting four of Rigolfi Jr.’s dogs: Diesel, Chunky, Peggy and Luna. Patrons get a free cold brew for every two bags of beans purchased in store. A special Arizona Humane Society blend of coffee is also in the works and will be available in-store and online soon.
