Never have I ever been in such total disbelief over the Republican party.
Their chosen candidate told us what he’ll do if re-elected. He’ll take away freedoms for religions other than Christianity, destroy our current government, constitution, justice system, free press, department of education, environmental protection agency, and anything that protects or improves the individual rights of all citizens.
He plans to stack his government with family and sycophants and give himself total power and immunity, taking us back to the days of King George!
Trump also promised to once again bar entry to our country to Muslims, separate families, deport migrants, round up “undesirables” in concentration camps, and execute revenge and retribution on those who oppose him.
He’ll do away with NATO and appease strong-armed autocratic leaders like Putin, Kim, Xi and Orban (who is an honored guest at Mar a Lago as I write this). He’s suggested that democratic Ukraine should give up to Russian invaders, giving the green light to China to invade Taiwan. And Trump actually said that Russia should “do whatever the hell they want to do” to any NATO countries who fall short on their pledge. Is this a Mafia protection racket or a defense agreement between allies?
We fought too hard for independence and lost too many lives over the years in continuing to defend these freedoms. Should we now just give them away by supporting an extremely flawed and mentally confused wannabe dictator who denigrates our country and lauds praise on dictators? What are we thinking?
A jury convicted Trump of sexual assault; 91 other indictments await adjudication; he’s in debt for millions of dollars, making him ripe for blackmail; he’s a horrible candidate!
Vote blue to protect democracy and those people Trump has targeted with revenge and retribution.
