Route 87 north of Mesa reopens in both directions

State Route 87 has reopened in both directions north of Mesa, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Downed power lines had closed the road July 17.

The southbound lanes were closed at Shea Boulevard, and the northbound lanes were closed from McDowell Road to Shea Boulevard.
