INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for a nightly I-10 overpass closure south of Chandler for maintenance work.
Westbound Riggs Road will continue to be closed over I-10 nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, through the morning of Thursday, March 21.
Drivers exiting I-10 westbound will not be able to turn left onto Riggs Road.
The I-10 on- and off-ramps at Riggs Road will remain open. ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution at all times around construction personnel and equipment in all work zones.
As a detour, drivers may consider taking Queen Creek Road to State Route 347 as an alternate route.
