Renee Lynn Fox, age 35, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, with the help of God’s grace Renee overcame many challenges that life presented her, including extended hospital stays and medical treatments following her diagnosis of Noonan Syndrome. A host of dedicated teachers and loved ones helped Renee thrive through various stages of life. She attended Special Education classes in Fountain Hills as well as in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a member of FHHS class of 2011, she was awarded a plaque for being an “Outstanding Special Programs Student” that year.
Renee’s life pleasures were simple. She loved listening to music of all kinds, going on adventures in the car, and enjoying comfort foods. Give her a chocolate chip cookie and she would be your friend for life. She was also very fond of Disney music and movies and loved something as simple as watching the numbers count down on a digital timer.
She enjoyed community outings and would always happily greet everyone she met with an enthusiastic “Hi!” which often brought smiles to those she met. Every Sunday she would attend worship service at Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills and she loved to join in on singing worship songs with the congregation.
She participated in the annual music camps run by Arizona Magic of Music and Dance which let special needs individuals shine in the spotlight. Over the years Renee enjoyed playing many roles but her absolute favorite was playing a monkey in the group’s rendition of “The Jungle Book”. She played that role to perfection.
Everyone has a comfort zone and Renee’s was always spending time in her room watching tv or movies and listening to music. She would sit in her rocking chair, surround herself with her favorites: “Kids Bible Songs”, Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street, Teletubbies, Disney characters, and Lawrence Welk. These always brought her tremendous joy.
Renee was predeceased by her loving father, Charlie Fox. She is survived by her mother Margo Paradis Fox, her brother Ryan, and her sister-in-law Kimberly, a plethora of aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with the family dogs Molly and Odin. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills located at 15555 East Bainbridge at 11:00am on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
