QuikTrip recently presented the Phoenix Police Foundation with a $75,000 grant that will be used to expand programs and aid in recruitment, an official for the organization said.

“This essential funding will empower us to expand initiatives like the Phoenix Police Department Cadet Program, host key events such as Pride in Our Heroes and Women in Blue, and enhance our recruitment strategies," Phoenix Police Foundation President Timothy Thomas said.

In addition to the Phoenix Police Foundation, according to a release, other recipients of QT's help include the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association, the Phoenix Police Sergeants and Lieutenants Association, Valley of the Sun United Way, Child Crisis Arizona, Phoenix Rescue Mission and Sojourner Center.
