Authorities are searching for the driver whose pickup truck struck an 83-year-old woman in Phoenix and fled the scene.
The collision occurred about 6:40 a.m. Sunday, June 25, when the truck hit the woman on Desert Hills Drive near 29th Avenue and drove away, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
MCSO officials said the truck is possibly a black 2017 to 2022 Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon pickup.
“Evidence found suggests the vehicle should have damage to the right (passenger) side, to include the side mirror assembly,” MCSO said in a release.
The woman was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition.
Anyone with information should contact MCSO at 602-876-8477 or 602-876-1011. Refer to report IR23-016473.
