People with other degrees become teachers in Surprise

Dysart Unified School District’s Ready2Teach program this month celebrated 17 of its teachers who recently earned their teaching certificates in special education and now work in the district.

During a special completion ceremony, the educators were recognized for hard work and commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of students.

Ready2Teach is a paid, two-year Educator Preparation Program designed for individuals with a bachelor’s degree who want to become certified teachers.
