In 2022, ASU's Alpha Chi Omega sorority donated over $22,000 to A New Leaf to support its efforts with victims of domestic violence.

More than 150 sorority members from Arizona State University’s Alpha Chi Omega made an appearance Aug. 7 at A New Leaf’s La Mesita Community after making cumulative donations of $250,000 to end domestic violence.
For nearly 10 years, these young women have donated enough to provide more than 5,000 nights of shelter for women and children fleeing domestic violence, a press release explained.
This visit represents a milestone in their ongoing support as they present another $20,000 to provide safety and support to survivors across the Valley.
These Alpha Chi Omega sorority sisters launched into action on Aug. 7; meeting with survivors, volunteering their time and learning how their involvement makes a difference.
“AXO takes such pride in not only working with A New Leaf but also being able to be so hands-on with this organization! Visiting A New Leaf has become some of my favorite memories in college! We believe that it is not only important to be involved in your community and help those around you, but to also be as hands on as possible. As a sorority, we have always had the goal to place others before ourselves and service has been a very important aspect in our chapter!” Cara Euban, vice president of philanthropy for ASU Alpha Chi Omega said in the release.
