Council contemplates lower speed limits in Tempe

Tempe is looking at lowering speed limits on several roadways to address the evolution of roadway functions over time and the current roadside culture.

At Tempe City Council’s May 2 work study session, Principal Civil Engineer Cathy Hollow delivered a presentation on proposed speed limit changes along four corridors in the city on Mill Avenue, College Avenue, First Street and Southern Avenue.
