Mark Coronado Park in Surprise to close through Aug. 1
Park undergoing maintenance, renovations

Mark Coronado Park and its restroom amenities will be closed for maintenance and renovations beginning Monday, May 15 through Thursday, Aug. 1.
The park will reopen on Friday, Aug. 2, when it will resume normal operating hours daily from 6 a.m. until dusk.
This closure will be in effect over the Fourth of July holiday and for the Independence Day celebration. Spectators can enjoy the fireworks from the Surprise Recreation Complex, Community Park and Surprise Stadium.
There will be a free Minor League Baseball game starting at 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, and seats are open for the game and fireworks display. Stadium policies will be in effect for those entering the stadium.
