Maricopa County Recorder hosts Town Hall Feb. 15

The public is invited to attend a Town Hall meeting in Tempe on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The event is 9 a.m.-noon in the Lattie F. Coor Hall at Arizona State Unviversity, 975 S. Forest Mall, Room 170, Tempe.

As part of the Award Winning Roundtable Project, the public is invited to take part in an interactive equipment demonstration as well as a presentation and panel discussion focused on the March 17 Presidential Preference Election and improvements the Maricopa County Elections Department has made to the voter experience.

Town Hall Timeline

  • 9 a.m. New Equipment Demonstration
  • 10 a.m. Presentation by Recorder Adrian Fontes
  • 11 a.m. Panel Discussion with Election Officials

Rey Valenzuela, Co-Election Director for Early Voting and Election Services; Kathren Coleman, Deputy Recorder for Communications; and Megan Gilbertson, Communications Director for the Elections Department will be in attendance.

 “The Roundtable Project keeps an open line of communication between our office and communities that have historically experienced barriers to access and our office," Mr. Fontes stated. "The Community Relations Team was recently awarded a Clearinghouse Award by the Elections Assistance Commission for their work on this project."
